Support Lyndhurst Kids This site has been created to promote the interests of the current and future children of Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Also see www.bettereducationforlyndhurst.com.

In January 2011, the children of Lyndhurst lost out on receiving a new school building to replace buildings constructed in the early 1900's. That proposed Referendum vote for $37 Million would have constructed a new Middle School in Town and sold off Lincoln School. This vote was met with much controversy and had many objections. One of major concerns was that building one new school did nothing t

o address problems at other schools. On December 13, 2011, the Lyndhurst Board Of Education will attempt to pass another Referendum for improvements and additions to each school in the Distirct. The new plan also calls for the sale of Lincoln School, but upon the completion of construction in 2014. PLEASE VOTE ON DECEMBER 13, 2011 IN LYNDHURST, NEW JERSEY
