We are prayerfully seeking volunteers in the following areas:

📅 Tuesday Nights | 5:30–7:45 PM

• Preschool Program – 1 volunteer to lead & 1 volunteer to support

• Elementary Program – 1 volunteer to support leaders on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month

☀️ Summer Elementary Program

Tuesday–Friday | 8:45 AM–12:15 PM

• 1 volunteer needed each morning

A huge thank you to the Bellingham location of Bell Lumber & Pole for their incredibly generous donation of 84 towel sets to New Way Ministries!

When a family moves into New Way, each family is given 2 or more sets of towels to use, launder, and keep. It may seem simple, but having fresh towels helps create dignity, comfort, and a sense of home during a season of rebuilding.

This donation will bless many families in a very practical and meaningful way. Thank you Bell Lumber & Pole for caring for the mothers and children in our program so well!

Exciting News!

We’re honored to welcome Sherrie Turner as the new Executive Director of Christian Hope Association, overseeing both New Way Ministries and Project Hope Lynden Food Bank.

Sherrie comes with 18 years of leadership at Whatcom Pregnancy Clinic and a personal connection to this work.

We have moms at New Way in great need of reliable, good condition vehicles. Some of our moms are going to school, while others are starting new jobs, and they need dependable transportation to get them there. 🚗

For a mom with 2 to 3 kids, getting to work (like a job at Fred Meyer near Costco in Bellingham) can mean taking 2 to 3 buses 🚌, coordinating daycare drop-off, and spending over 1.5 hours each way. With summer schedules coming up, this becomes even more challenging.

A dependable vehicle can greatly improve a mom’s daily life. It means more time with her children, less stress, and opens the door to more opportunities for her family.

If you or someone you know is replacing a vehicle, would you consider donating it to New Way? Your generosity could be a huge blessing to a family 💛

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make Faith, Hope, & Love 2026 such a special evening! 💜

From the staff and LC students who jumped in to help set up, to those who shared so meaningfully from the stage, to each and every one of you who attended — thank you! Your presence, encouragement, and support meant so much to us.

We truly felt surrounded by love and are so thankful for this incredible community and the ways you come alongside the families at New Way. Praise be to God.

Come support our sister ministry, Project Hope Lynden Food Bank at Safeway in Lynden on Wednesday, September 24 as they team up with the Seattle Seahawks for a fun Food Drive.

The Seahawks are coming to Lynden to support the community through a food drive at Safeway. We couldn't be more excited! See you there!
