Mt. Baker Rotary was honored to play a part in helping make the new turf field at Nooksack Valley High School a reality!

Along with many local businesses, organizations, and community supporters, we were proud to contribute to this much-needed addition to the school’s athletic program.

This project is a great example of what can happen when a community comes together. When people work toward a common goal, amazing things can be accomplished!

We’re excited for the students, athletes, coaches, and community members who will enjoy this beautiful new field for years to come. Congratulations, Nooksack Valley!

Mt. Baker Rotary is proud to give back to our community! ❤️

We recently presented the Christian Hope Association with a $6,000 donation to benefit New Way Ministries. The funds will be used to redo and improve the food pantries for the families who live there.

New Way Ministries does such important work, providing housing, support, and encouragement to moms and their children who are working toward a better future.

We are honored to play a small part in helping this wonderful organization and the families they serve. This is what Rotary is all about—neighbors helping neighbors and making a difference right here in our own community. ❤️

Mt. Baker Rotary recently held our weekly meeting at the Boy Scout Troop 4029 building. Our club is proud to help sponsor this troop, so it was especially fun to hear about their past year and all the adventures they’ve had!
Troop 4029 currently has 26 active members who meet every Monday. We also learned that one of their Scouts recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout — an amazing accomplishment that takes a great deal of hard work and dedication.
It was wonderful to spend time with the troop and hear about their experiences. We’re proud to support Troop 4029 and these young people in our community!

A big thank you to our President-Elect, David Vander Yacht, for hosting our Tuesday Rotary meeting in the Lynden Administration Building meeting room.
As the Northwest Washington Fair prepares for another exciting fair season, Mt. Baker Rotary’s building is being used as part of the fairgrounds, so we’ll be meeting remotely through the end of August.

Ifyou need to reach us during that time, please send us a message—we’d love to hear from you!

Best wishes to everyone at the Northwest Washington Fair as they put the finishing touches on another great fair. We look forward to returning to our Rotary building after the fair wraps up.

Mt. Baker Rotary recently held our club meeting at the Lynden Technic Center, located on the Lynden Door campus. The tour was informative, engaging, and enjoyed by everyone who attended. We were impressed by the opportunities and hands-on learning experiences available to students. If you have the chance to visit, we highly recommend it—you'll come away with a greater appreciation for the incredible work being done there.

The Lynden Christian High School FFA team visited us at our Tuesday meeting. They presented us their program they will be doing at state competition. It was in a town hall meeting style with the topic “are small family farms still relevant.” It was very informative and they should do well in competition.

At our weekly meeting of Mt. Baker Rotary, we were pleased to welcome our Students of the Month from Mount Baker High School. Each student was individually introduced by Principal Durand, who shared highlights about them. The students then introduced their parents and spoke about their school experiences and future educational plans. We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about these outstanding students and celebrate their achievements
