This Thursday is Sharing Day at CBS Beulah Baptist. We will eat brunch together and share insights from Psalms this year. Great way to finish off the year together with fellowship and food together.

This picture is to reflect this scripture:

Psalm 133:1 emphasizes the beauty of unity among friends, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”

Feel free below to comment any scripture that come to your mind regarding fellowship for the Psalms from this year.

Lesson 30 –“The Hallelujah Chorus” -
Psalms 146–150 - Our last lesson for the year. So good to end on the high note of praising the Lord being our focus. Worshiping the Lord honors and blesses God. He delights and sings over us. Because he’s given us breath and a voice we get the privilege to do the same back to Him! Amazing he doesn’t demand it, but he is worthy of praise every moment of our lives, since he doesn’t change.

May we become more like this bird who looks like he’s singing with everything in him. He is the one true God and we get to do life every moment with Him!

Lesson 27 – Vindication! Psalms 7; 17; 54; 120; 123
Our scripture memory below. To me this picture spoke of feeling small like the island and the wonder if God sees our heart and our pain from people attacking us. Feeling the desire to separate from others and from God. You don’t want to do that, because just like an animal separated from the herd is easy for an enemy to attack. Our enemy is looking for an opportunity, where he can get in, don’t let him.

God promised to deliver us from all our afflictions. We have to remind ourselves, even when something does or doesn’t happen that we thought God would bring about that we don’t isolate from him or others. Just like before when he’s helped us, he will do it again.

Please respond by giving a heart if your own family or yourself have been vindicated by God.

Lesson 26: Praying Against Evil - Psalms 28; 58; 83; 109
Being a righteous leader puts a target on your back. You don’t want to enter into that arena without walking closely with the Lord. The wicked and deceitful come out of the woodworks. Makes sense that we should pray for our leaders. We do not understand the pressure and hatred that they face. Most of us do not have to deal with this level of attacks. Although, we do need to speak up when there is truth to be revealed and not be silent. It may make us fair game for the haters, but the Lord will protect us.

Comment below what leader or leaders you are praying for. It may encourage others of us to join with you.

Lesson 25 – God‘s Protection – Psalms 34; 40; 108; 124; 134
Sometimes our many problems feel like we’re drowning. We wonder how the Lord will get us out of the ones we’re in, but he always does. This verse below encourages us to remember he has the wisdom, the answers, and all that we need to get us through any problem. He is the way maker! Trust in him with the problem you’re facing! Think of a person drowning if they fight the water, they will run out of strength quicker, but if they rest they can help themselves. Don’t worry or fight the problem, but rest in the truth that God will deliver you from your afflictions in his time!

King David faced many troubles, but the Lord got him through them all! Comment below any trouble you’re facing for others to pray.

Praying amid Opposition: Lesson 24: Psalm 62; 64; 86; 94; 141
Great verse to memorize below. God is our refuge and we can trust Him at all times. We are safe to pour out our heart to Him. In Isaiah 42:3 “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not s***f out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice” Meaning He has compassion and gentleness towards the weak and the broken. No matter how broken you are. His compassions and mercies fail not.

All of us have dealt with pain and hurt in relationships. Respond with a thumbs up if you poured out your heart to the Lord and felt his comfort.
