Important NEWS:

As your current DivorceCare facilitators, it is with bittersweet emotion that I share this news. Just before Thanksgiving Paul was offered a teaching and administrative position at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. We will be pulling out of the driveway with our moving truck next week! Talk about a whirlwind!!! We're excited to experience what the Lord has called us to, but sad to say good-bye to our friends and church family, including each of you in our DivorceCare group.

Pastor Mike Morykon and I have discussed plans for the upcoming sessions. However, we will need to postpone the spring session until he can secure and train new leadership. You can call the church office (434) 237-6505 for more information as it becomes available.

If you need to reach us for anything, you can find me or Paul here on Facebook. We'd love to hear from you and know how you're doing! Paul and I love you all and remain your cheerleaders as you continue down the road of divorce recovery. Know that God has you and can work in you right where you are. Let Him do it!!!

Due to the heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures forecast for tomorrow evening, DivorceCare HBCLynchburg will be cancelled December 10, 2019. Thanksgiving...a time to look into the deeper recesses of our hearts, beyond our own pain and past, and be really grateful for the blessings we do have. What has God given to you lately that you have not thanked Him for? What if He removed all of the blessings from your life that you have neglected to thank Him for? This week write them down, make a list, then intentionally thank Him out loud for each one on Thanksgiving morning! It will heal your heart.
