Special Edition Wish List Wednesday!

One of our incredible young ladies has been selected to participate in the Upward Bound College Program at Virginia Tech this summer! We are so proud of her and want to send her off feeling supported, encouraged, and fully prepared for this exciting opportunity.

Thank you to the amazing volunteer team from Flowserve for spending United Way Day of Caring with us today! Despite the heat, this group worked tirelessly to complete several outdoor projects, including staining our deck and refreshing the front flower beds with new mulch.

We are so grateful for their hard work, generosity, and willingness to serve our home and girls so well. A special thank you also to Lowe’s for donating supplies to help make these projects possible!

This spring brought a LOT of soccer to Miller Home, with girls playing on multiple teams and spending evenings and weekends practicing in backyards and parks.

More importantly, they learned that soccer is about so much more than the game itself. It’s about being part of a team, working together toward a common goal, encouraging one another, and showing up for your teammates both on and off the field.

We are proud of the growth, perseverance, and teamwork these girls demonstrated all season long!
