campaign throughout the Greater Central Virginia Community showcasing local businesses and offerings. Buy Local Central Virginia is an active campaign of the Central Virginia Business Coalition in the greater Central Virginia area with the support of the American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA). The CVABC is a non-profit organization representing retailers, service providers, entrepreneurs

and other businesses in the greater Central Virginia area. Established August 14, 1907, CVABC promotes our business community and surrounding areas by offering advertising, cost-saving support services, educational opportunities, and sponsorship of cultural activities. The CVABC provides legislative representation through our association with the Virginia Retail Merchants Association (VRMA), and the National Retail Federation (NRF) supporting reasonable and proper laws protecting the interests of member businesses. Special emphasis is directed towards fostering understanding of retailing, free trade, and free enterprise systems in order to provide laws that have a positive impact for business owners. Legislative representation is provided on a local, state and national level. Benefits of Membership (not all-inclusive):
