Global Camps Africa GCA is a non-profit organization that provides life skills education to children in South Africa. We are making a huge difference.... one child at a time.

More than 10,000 children have attended our camps and lives are being changed dramatically. Our flagship camp is Camp Sizanani (Sizanani means 'to help each other' in Zulu) located in the mountains outside of Johannesburg. Fun is essential to our camps, but equally vital is our program of life skills there kids learn to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS and to defend themselves from exploitation and abuse. With one-third of today's 15-year olds in South Africa estimated to die from AIDS, the tool is yet another critical element in the war against this horrendous disease.

Here are some snapshots of our favorite moments: a local cooking class, a community volunteer project, safaris, the Boulders Beach penguin colony, the Mandela House, the Apartheid Museum, Table Mountain — and, of course, CampSizanani_Official!
