Today, our R. S. Payne PTO leaders invited 5th grade Robert S. Payne Elementary School students to give back before graduating from elementary school!

🎓 Fifth graders from four classes joined together to discuss service and the importance of leaving things better than you found them and creating a legacy for younger students to admire.

They divided into three teams and rotated among stations:

❤️ trash clean up on the RSP property

❤️ designing personalized cards for meaningful teachers and helpful volunteers and local businesses

❤️ sanding, cleaning, painting the little free pantry and little free library near the entrance to school.

❤️ making hygiene kits for unhoused neighbors in the community

It was a special morning and we wish these students the very best in middle school!
