Join the Jefferson Choral Society for "Requiem for All People", a contemporary requiem by Aaron Garber, inspired during a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral that led to his return to composing after six years. Blending traditional Latin texts with scripture such as Psalm 23, the piece offers memorable melodies and an hour of music meant to leave audiences with a sense of peace. The Requiem features soprano soloist Penelope Shumate and is accompanied by piano and string quartet.
