With today being October 1st, let’s talk about breast cancer awareness! Breast cancer is a disease that occurs when when cancerous cells form in the breast tissue. About 1 in 8 women in the United States alone will be diagnosed with breast cancer within their lifetime. According to the W.H.O., breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide. Because this disease greatly impacts women, we will be posting each week on more information regarding breast cancer and precautions that you can take to protect yourself! Also, stay tuned for more posts regarding Relay events and ways to donate towards cancer research through us!
