Blue Ridge Montessori offers children a beautiful learning environment prepared in accordance with the Montessori principles of education. Our community of multi-aged children (6 weeks - 6th grade) engages in meaningful work with specially designed Montessori materials under the guidance of certified Montessori teachers. The Peace Corner is a special space in our classroom where children can pause, reflect, and practice self-regulation. 🌿 Rather than a place for punishment, it is a place for empowerment—helping children recognize their emotions, find calm, and develop the tools they need to navigate challenges with confidence and respect.

In Montessori, we believe that supporting emotional growth is just as important as academic learning. Even our youngest learners are capable of building the foundations of empathy, independence, and inner peace.

We are proud to unveil our new logo and newly redesigned website.

While our look has evolved, our mission remains the same: to nurture independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through authentic Montessori education.

Our new website was created to better serve current and prospective families, making it easier to learn about our programs, explore our community, and discover what makes Blue Ridge Montessori so special.

🎉Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Anabelle 🎉

Ms. Anabelle brings so many smiles, kindness, and positive energy to our Cherry Blossom classroom each day. As an assistant on our toddler team, she helps create such a warm and welcoming environment for our youngest students, and it is so clear how much the children adore her!

🎉Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Jessica 🎉

Ms. Jessica brings such a thoughtful and caring presence to our infant community. With experience working with children across a variety of age groups, she brings both knowledge and compassion into the classroom each day. She has such a genuine love for Montessori education and deeply values the way it supports each child as an individual learner.

As both a teacher and a BRMS parent herself, with her daughter learning through the Montessori method, Ms. Jessica brings a special perspective and appreciation for the work we do as a school community. We are so grateful for the warmth, care, and dedication she shares with our students and families every day.
