The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp Program honored Cadet Captain Luis Corrales-Hernandez of the E.C. Glass JROTC Air Force, and Cadet Captain Paisley Hobson of the Heritage JROTC Marines today. These outstanding students were recognized for leadership abilities, peer recognition of those abilities, and being able to express themselves as a part of the leadership of others, as well as demonstrating patriotism and respect for others, our flag, and our country. Their nominations were made by their instructors SGT. Major David Eldridge, USMC, Retired, and, Lt. Col. Les Pratt, USAF, Retired. Select Air Mechanical & Electrical sponsored the program and Rev. William "Bill" Coleman was the guest speaker.

🚨 Central VA First Responders are collecting supplies for communities and fellow first responders affected by Hurricane Helene. 🚨

We'll be accepting donations at Sam's Club this Sunday from 2-6 PM! You can help by donating items like:

- Flashlights, batteries, hot hands
- Baby meds & non-dairy formula
- Work gloves, manual can openers, tarps
- Blankets, gas cans, charcoal

You can also drop donations off at local first responder agencies. Follow us for updates on more collection sites. Let's come together and support those in need! 💙
