Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of following God—especially when what we’re waiting for is change in ourselves.

In Part 2 of “Waiting… but content?”, YWAM River City staff member Elyssa Hersom shares honestly about asking God to change areas of her life—and then discovering that sanctification doesn’t always happen in the way, or at the speed, we expect.

Sometimes we become frustrated with our weaknesses, failures, or struggles and wonder why God hasn’t changed us yet. But what if He is working—even in the waiting?

God is patient with us. His grace is sufficient. And He knows exactly where He is working in our lives and what He is forming in us.
