We meet Monday night from 7:00-8:30 in the Fellowship Hall at Peakland United Methodist Church. It is in the outdoors that the skills and activities practiced at troop meetings come alive with purpose. These are the lessons of teamwork, cooperation, self-reliance, leadership and helping others. In Scouts BSA, young men go places, test themselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that can’t be fou
nd anywhere else. Scouts BSA is designed to be experienced outdoors but also has a STEM component. While hiking, camping, biking, and canoeing are all offered and bring Scouts into the great outdoors, young men with a drive for science will learn to develop and hone those skills as well. Scouts are also invited to spend a week at a BSA camp and High Adventure camp each summer.
