So thankful for the .family who spent their May 18th serving day with us at Connecting Point. 🤍

This team came in ready to work and helped deep clean the spaces we use each week for community breakfasts, showers, laundry, and welcoming our neighbors.

Wednesdays at The Connecting Point 🤍

Every week we open our doors for a hot breakfast, warm showers, and access to laundry…meeting practical needs in a simple, tangible way. We also help connect our neighbors to resources that can support them beyond the day.

But more than anything, it’s a space to slow down, build relationships, and be known.

If you’ve been looking for a way to serve or get involved, we’d love to have you. And if you’re an organization with resources that could support our neighbors, we’d love to connect!

Thank you so much to everyone who stepped in when we had a last-minute need 🙌

Because of you, we were able to partner with and purchase 72 lbs of ground beef for our neighbors.

It might seem like a small thing, but being able to offer good, healthy protein is really important to us and it means so much to the families we serve. We’re so grateful for a community that shows up like this 🤍

Hey friends 🤍

We have our food pantry this Saturday, and right now… we don’t have any fresh meat to offer. Our usual supplier is experiencing a shortage, so we’re coming up empty this week.

One thing we really try to do is provide good, quality protein for our neighbors. It’s something we really never want to miss if we can help it.

So we’re asking for a little help. We’re hoping to purchase about 70 lbs of ground beef from local grocery stores, which would allow us to give about 2 lbs to each of the 35 households we serve.

If you’re out shopping, you can grab small bottles or the bigger 64 oz ones, either works! Just make sure they’re shelf-stable (not refrigerated).

Such a simple thing, but something our neighbors really enjoy.

If you want to drop some off, we’d love it. Thank you for helping us keep our shelves stocked! 🫶

Heard we’re posting memories from 2016.

10 years ago didn’t know it yet but we were about to become stewards of this beautiful ministry on Rivermont Ave.-Connecting Point. 10 years of ministry that’s included a food pantry, hair and nail salon, clothing closet, Bible studies, summer kids programs, community breakfasts, and so much more. We’ve grown and changed a lot over the years but pray that we’ll continue to be faithful with what God has given us ❤️
