Congratulations are in order🥳🗣👏🏽

Congratulations to our very own Ky Hundley for winning the 2L/3L Liberty Cup Moot Court Tournament!!

Zakyrah was the petitioner representing the U.S. arguing that Batson should not be extended to prohibit the use of peremptory challenges on the basis of religion.

There were 13 competitors and a total of four rounds which concluded on Saturday with the final tournament.

We are so proud of our Secretary! She is a phenomenal student and your new Moot Court Champion! 🏆🥇👩🏽‍⚖️

She did that! Period.

Introducing our SBA representative, Miss
Abbi White!

Abbi is a 3L originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. She went to Florida State University. Abbi will be practicing intellectual property and business law in North Carolina after law school.

A fun fact about Abbi: “I sing, play guitar, and write music in my spare time.” 🎶

BLSA as a club promotes diversity. However, diversity is not limited to race. It also encompasses differences of ideology, opinion, and interests.

Kelvin Goodson is a 2L from Claxton, GA. He completed his undergraduate studies at Savannah College of Art and Design.

Currently, Kelvin says, “I want to practice contract law or personal injury.”

My fun fact is that I love to restore classic muscle cars. I also enjoy hunting and fishing in my spare time.
