Our regular volunteer Annie Smith, a Community Champion with Pacific Life, was recently honored with the Daily Point of Light Award, recognizing individuals who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to serving others.

Annie has been volunteering with Daily Bread since 2023, regularly leading Pacific Life team volunteer days. We’re so grateful for the time, energy, and heart she brings to our mission—and proud to see her commitment to our community celebrated!

Celebrate 250 years by helping us serve 250 meals. ❤️🤍💙

As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, one generous Daily Bread donor marked the occasion by sponsoring 250 meals for our neighbors in need.

With each meal costing just under $4, a $1,000 gift provides 250 hot meals.

Out with the old, in with the new!

A big thank you to our friends at the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank for gifting us a much-needed three-door refrigerator.

Reliable kitchen equipment is essential to serving meals every day, and this new addition will help us safely store ingredients and keep our scratch kitchen running smoothly.

(And yes—we may have had to take a door off to fit this bad boy in. 😅)

We have the best volunteers, hands down!

Our friends from Genworth have been serving alongside us since 2017 and, over the years, have gifted more than $125,000 to support our daily meal program. It is never lost on us how fortunate we are to be lifted up in so many ways.

A big thank you to Boonsboro Country Club's Drew Robinson for stopping by this morning to deliver a generous donation from the club’s Tennis Pro-Am tournament.

We were honored to be chosen as this year’s benefactor, and thanks to the kindness and generosity of the tournament’s players, an incredible $3,600 was raised to support our work here on Clay Street!
