Hey everyone! We’re so grateful for everyone who has donated, volunteered, shared our posts, and supported Lynchburg Food Not Bombs. Your support helps make our weekly meal shares possible! Lately, we’ve been struggling to keep up with the growing demand for food at our free community distributions every Saturday at 11:00 AM in Miller Park. If you’re able to help, every donation makes a real difference. We accept all kinds of food donations, and we have several drop off locations around town. If those aren’t convenient, you can also bring donations directly to Miller Park between 10:15-11:00 AM on Saturdays while we’re setting up. Want to help but can’t make it to a drop off location? Check out our wishlist in our bio and have items shipped directly to us! Thank you for helping us make sure our neighbors have access to food and care each week. We love this community, and we love you all. 💚🥕

A huge THANK YOU to the many community members and supporters of Lynchburg Food Not Bombs and Unity in the Seven Hills who helped make our new community fridge possible! 💚🥕After years of faithful service, our old fridge was struggling to keep food safely cold during this summer’s intense heat. Thanks to the generosity of numerous individuals who contributed in different ways, we now have a reliable new fridge to help keep fresh food available for our neighbors. Our fridge is self serve and located at 📍3522 Campbell Avenue. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Take what you need, give what you can! 🤝

This fridge belongs to the community, and its success is only possible because of people who believe in caring for their neighbors. P.S. we are looking for volunteers who would like to paint this new fridge and/or donated supplies. DM us if interested! 🌞

On July 18, is hosting a Community Canvas Fundraiser featuring artwork donated by local artists, with 100% of proceeds going directly toward our weekly meal shares at Miller Park! 🖼️ 🎨
Come hang out, meet local creatives, browse art, place silent auction bids, and help support free community food distribution in Lynchburg. This event is free to attend and your support helps us keep showing up for our neighbors.
We’re also currently looking for local performers, artists, and vendors who want to be part of this event. If you’re interested in getting involved, donating artwork, performing, or setting up a table send us a DM or email us at [email protected]. 🥕💚

This will be hosted at Church of the Brethren - Lynchburg (200 Atlanta Ave, Lynchburg VA)
