Congratulations again to our team! School history was made in the FFA! Best of luck representing Ohio at the national contest in October!

The team consisting of Lynchburg-Clay FFA members Wyatt Osborn, Elam Faust, Gage Thompson, & Ashton Bain went into the finals of the General Livestock Judging Contest in second place and came out nine points ahead in the No. 1 spot.

Yesterday, our Officer team met, fixed breakfast, and planned for the year. We have quite a few awesome events planned. A few include: Ag Day, Trunk or Treat, Career Fair, and many more!

🐄🐖🐓 Ohio 4-H Animal Sciences Opportunities at the Ohio State Fair! 🐓🐖🐄

This summer, Ohio 4-H members have several exciting opportunities to showcase their animal knowledge and skills through educational contests and events at the Ohio State Fair.

Opportunities Include:
• Ohio 4-H Skillathons (Dates Vary)
• Outstanding Exhibitor (Breeding and Market) (Dates Vary)
• Ohio State Fair 4-H Livestock Judging Contest – July 26, 2026
• Ohio State Fair 4-H Poultry Judging Contest – July 11, 2026
• Ohio State Fair 4-H Avian Bowl Contest – July 11, 2026

These experiences help youth build industry knowledge, confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork skills while connecting with fellow exhibitors from across Ohio.

Registration for the Livestock Judging, Poultry Judging, and Avian Bowl contests requires an Extension professional’s signature to verify current 4-H membership standing.

⏳In-Person/Breeding Skillathon station topics and resources will be posted very soon.

The time has come to publish our schedule. Please plan to join us August 21st & 22nd for our annual Truck & Tractor pulls as well as our 2nd annual Car Show. Students have sent sponsor letters out and will be out and about visiting businesses this June! Reach out if you’d like to sponsor!
