The NACG is pleased to share the results of our first Childhood Bereavement Professional Survey, conducted in Fall 2025, reflecting our commitment to listening to the professionals doing this work and using their insights to help shape NACG’s priorities and work.

The survey gathered insights from 424 professionals working across the childhood bereavement field. Findings highlight growing demand for services, ongoing challenges related to funding, staffing, organizational capacity, and public awareness, as well as the importance of professional connection, practical resources, and continued investment in the field.

This survey is the beginning of an ongoing effort to listen to and learn from the field.
