Happy Anniversary Scouting America!

Since girls joined Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA, we’ve seen a significant increase in participation and achievement. More than 8,000 young women have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Nearly 20 percent of Scouting America’s total membership is female.

Do you know a young woman who would enjoy Scouting? We meet at 7 pm every Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church. Come join us!

Happy 100th birthday to BSA Alum and 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter!

Jimmy Carter was a Scoutmaster and Explorer advisor while his three sons were Scouts. His wife, Rosalynn, was also active as a Den Mother and Cubmaster. Their youngest child, Amy, is the mother of Errol Carter Kelly, a Scout in Troop 101.
