📣📣Last weekend we hosted the Rick Kupp Memorial Rookie Ball Tournament! This Saturday (May 16) L&W decided to host 3 Major games at Lykens! We invited the 3 Pine Grove Major teams, Millersburg Maroon, and Elizabethville Express to play 3 non-league games at the Glen! The schedule is as followed:

Millersburg Maroon vs Pine Grove Lions @2:00pm!
Elizabethville Express vs Pine Grove Snyder’s team @4:00pm!
L&W Major Phillies vs Pine Grove Werner’s team @6:30pm!

The weather looks beautiful, the concession stand will be open, and there will be some great baseball played! So why not spend your Saturday afternoon with us at the Glen! We will see you there! ☀️🌹⚾️

⚠️⚠️What a weekend of baseball! L&W was presented the opportunity to host the first ever Rick Kupp Memorial Rookie Ball Tournament, and man did it have everything!

First we played 4 games on Friday to start our tournament! The weather was beautiful, the fields looked good, and the concession stand was hopping!☀️

Then Saturday came and we got most of the morning games in at both fields and then unfortunately Mother Nature decided to put a wrinkle in our plans, and we had to cancel Saturday afternoon games! 😡☔️After about 750 brackets and suggestions we came up with a plan**

Sunday morning the fields became playable and the L&W organization decided to represent the Mothers with roses for Mother’s Day, which all the kids and moms LOVED! 🌹🌹We ran two fields until 11 and were able to get the rest of the tournament in at the Glen!

Congratulations to all teams on a great weekend! Congratulations to Halifax Gold for winning the championship, and to Halifax Black for being runners up!⚾️🏆

The L&W organization thanks all the participants, volunteers, and all the people who worked tiredlessly this weekend to make it special for the kids/teams! We are already looking forward to the 2027 Rick Kupp Memorial Rookie Ball Tournament !⚾️

UPDATE: Mother Nature had other plans for us today. But we fully anticipate to get everything back together Sunday morning at 8AM at both field locations! Please see the updated bracket! We will see you tomorrow morning!

Updated tournament bracket with the rain this afternoon. We are pushing games back to hopefully start at 5 PM this evening and run until 9 o’clock tonight and then playing tomorrow morning and early afternoon. Please stay tuned for any updated information.

Fields are ready for day Two! Congratulations to Halifax Black, Halifax Gold, WV Blue, and the Lykens Rattlers are tournament wins yesterday! We look forward to Saturday and for a great day! Please look at page for tournament updates and times!

Rookie Ball Tournament is TODAY! Fields are ready, tournament shirts have arrived (still available), concession stands are will be hopping, and we are excited to host these kids in this tournament this weekend! See you all there!⚾️😁

⚾️⚠️We are just days, yes DAYS away from the First Annual Rick Kupp Memorial Rookie Ball Tournament held in Lykens! We are so excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started on Friday May 8th at 5:30 at both the L&W Glen Field and the Lykens Softball Field! The tournament will be ran through Sunday May 10th with the championship game being at 11:30!

We plan on having concessions available at both fields on Friday night and Saturday morning, with the tournament shifting to the Glen Saturday afternoon! We are still in need of volunteers for umpiring and the concession stand! Please sign up to help at

Beginning of May already!⚾️🌷

Here is the slate of games this week:

5/4 - The T-ball Pirates are at Glen starting at 6pm!
5/4 - The Minor Phillies continue their quest in the Ritchie Hoke Tournament in Millersburg beginning at 5:30 against the Eville Orioles!

5/5 - The Rookie Rattlers play against WV Blue under the Lights at the Glen at 7:30pm!

5/6 - The Rookie Rattlers are back at the Glen against the Eville Bananas starting 6pm!

5/7 - The Major Phillies are at the Glen against the Gratz Nationals starting at 6pm!

5/8 - The T-ball Tigers travel to Eville for their T-ball game starting at 11AM!

5/8-5/10 - Our Rookie Ball Tournament will be at the Glen and the Girls Softball field! More information in a post to follow!

Busy week ahead at the Lykens Glen Park, concession stand will be open, hopefully the weather is wonderful and we see you all there! Also please stay tuned for more information about the Minor Phillies Tournament schedule!
