Today’s monthly pantry distribution was truly beautiful 🤍🥹

Watching families come in, connect, receive support, and leave feeling seen reminded me exactly why I started this work. In a time where so many parents are overwhelmed and trying to make it through silently, community care matters more than ever.

This pantry is about more than just supplies. It’s about restoring dignity, support, encouragement, and reminding families that they are not alone. Every diaper, wipe, snack, conversation, resource, and referral is given with love and intention.

You may also see some maternal wellness items throughout this video — those are reserved for my expecting and postpartum doula clients as part of the individualized support services I provide through my maternal wellness center ✨

I’m incredibly grateful for every donor, supporter, volunteer, client, and family that continues to trust and pour into this vision. We are truly building back the village, one family at a time 🤍

Today was our VERY FIRST monthly distribution day for The Village Baby Pantry and my heart is so full. 🤍

Seeing families come through, conversations happening, resources being shared, and everything flowing so peacefully reminded me exactly why this work matters so much.

And I can’t get enough of those sweet babies and those mama bellies carrying the future of our society!

What started as an idea and a burden on my heart is slowly becoming a real, tangible village for families in our community. One rooted in compassion, dignity, support, and care.

Thank you to every person who donated, shared a post, encouraged me, prayed for this vision, volunteered, or simply believed in what we are building. You are a part of this too.

This is only the beginning. 🫶🏽

The Village Baby Pantry is officially launching monthly family resource distributions for families in our community. 🤍

This initiative was created to help connect families with essential items, community support, and trusted local resources in a structured and intentional way.

Families may have access to:
• baby essentials
• hygiene items
• clothing
• community resource connections

Diapers & wipes are generously provided through our community partner, Mama Bird. 🤍 MamaBird

Please note:
Distributions are by approved appointment only. No walk-ins or same-day requests will be accepted.

We are currently welcoming:
• sponsors
• community partners
• churches & organizations
• local businesses
• volunteers
• monetary & in-kind donations

✨ IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE VILLAGE BABY PANTRY ✨

As our outreach continues to grow, The Village Baby Pantry will now operate on a MONTHLY distribution schedule with REQUIRED sign-ups completed ahead of time.

This change allows us to:
🤍 Better prepare for each family
🤍 Organize inventory more effectively
🤍 Reduce long wait times and confusion
🤍 Serve our community with greater care, structure, and consistency

Moving forward:
• Walk-ins will be very limited
• Families must complete the request form prior to pickup dates
• Pickup dates and availability will be announced monthly

Our goal is not just to hand out items, but to build a more intentional and sustainable support system for families throughout our community. Thank you for growing with us as we continue building back the village, one family at a time. 🩷

We’re excited to share an important update regarding the future of The Village Baby Pantry 💛

As our organization continues to grow, we’ve been prayerfully and intentionally evaluating how we can best serve families in our community in a sustainable and impactful way.

We are incredibly grateful to announce a partnership with The Mama Bird Organization, who will now be helping absorb and support a large portion of:

* Diaper assistance
* Wipe distribution
* Postpartum recovery kits
* Period kits

This partnership allows us to continue ensuring families receive these essential items while also allowing The Village Baby Pantry to shift more deeply into our core mission surrounding maternal health and family stabilization.

Moving forward, our primary focus will include:
🤍 Prenatal and postpartum support
🤍 Maternal wellness resources
🤍 Birth and newborn preparation support
🤍 Safe sleep education and infant transition needs
🤍 Resource navigation and community referrals
🤍 Emotional and educational support for mothers and families

This transition is not about doing less — it’s about becoming more intentional, more sustainable, and more aligned with the work we have been called to do in maternal health advocacy and support.

We are deeply thankful for every donor, volunteer, community partner, and family who has trusted and supported this mission. The need is still great, and we remain committed to building back the village — one family at a time.

Today was a major milestone for The Village Baby Pantry. 🤍

Thanks to an incredibly generous $2,000 donation, diapers, and additional contributions from several community supporters, we are now in a stronger position to begin addressing even more needs for families across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

What started as a simple desire to help mothers and families has continued to grow into something much bigger than we imagined. Every donation, every share, every prayer, and every act of support is helping us build something sustainable for our community.

Because of this support, we are actively working toward expanding our ability to provide:
• Diapers & wipes
• Baby clothing & essentials
• Safe sleep resources
• Postpartum support items
• Emergency family assistance
• Community partnerships & referrals

We are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to believe in this mission. The Village Baby Pantry exists because the community continues to show up for one another.

The Village Baby Pantry is grateful to be able to support families in our community through donations and shared resources. 💛

As our outreach continues to grow, we want to gently remind everyone that pantry assistance is based on donation availability and is intended to help as many families as possible. Because supplies are limited, we are not able to provide ongoing or unlimited assistance to one family.

Please understand:
• Assistance is never guaranteed
• Items are distributed based on current inventory and availability
• We may not always be able to fulfill repeat requests
• Respectful communication and understanding are deeply appreciated

In addition to the pantry, I also provide professional doula support services including prenatal education, birth planning, postpartum support, and advocacy for families throughout pregnancy and birth.

Important Update for The Village Baby Pantry

To continue serving families consistently and sustainably, the pantry will now operate as pickup only.

At this time, I will no longer be able to offer drop-off deliveries.

All approved requests will be scheduled for Thursday pickups during pantry hours (12 PM – 4 PM).

This change allows me to help more families, more effectively, without compromising quality of care.

Right now, the Village Baby Pantry is in need of:
• Diapers (sizes 1–6)
• Wipes
• Pull-ups
• Baby toiletries (wash, lotion, diaper cream)
*Clothes

If you’ve ever thought about giving—this is the time.

Every single donation goes directly to families in our community. No middleman. No waste.

Donation drop-offs will be Mondays (more details coming soon), message me if you’d like to coordinate.
