• Provide Grants

Why should other non-profits establish a fund within the Foundation?
• Amplified organization visib

• Stronger investment power.
• Administrative ease. Gifts to the Foundation may be restricted or unrestricted. Unrestricted gifts allow the Foundation to use those funds in combination with others’ gifts where they are needed most. Restricted gifts are used for the purpose determined by the donor, within the rules for tax-exempt gifts. All gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Luverne Area Community Foundation is a charity as defined by section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Service code.
