A big congratulations to Vivian, Jackie, and Theresa, who are celebrating a major milestone- their Golden Graduation from Alcorn State University! Fifty years after earning their degrees in 1976, they’re back on campus honoring the memories, experiences, and friendships that began here.

The Jimmie and Vivian Giles Family Foundation is honored to support Moffitt Cancer Center through its ongoing Tackle Cancer initiative with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Vivian Giles proudly made a donation in honor of #88 TE Jimmie Giles, which the Buccaneers generously triple matched to help further Moffitt’s groundbreaking cancer research and innovative treatments.

Moffitt holds a special place in the Giles Family’s heart- especially Vivian’s, who received care there and was recognized by the Buccaneers during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 2019.

This weekend, Vivian and Jimmie visited the Alcorn State University football game to present $50,000 in scholarships to five students through the Jimmie & Vivian Giles Family Foundation.

We appreciate President Dr. Tracy Cook, Executive Director of ASU Foundations Dr. Marcus Ward, Alcorn Graduate of ’67 Mary Davis, Athletic Director D’Wayne Robinson, faculty, staff, and students who joined us for the ceremony and showed us around “The Reservation.” Jimmie also served as an Honorary Captain for the game and participated in the coin toss. To top it off, Alcorn brought home a win over Grambling State University.

We’re cheering on the Alcorn State University Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite as they get ready for the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade- a historic moment for the band!

Jimmie & Vivian Giles proudly donated to support their March to Macy’s and had the chance to meet band members and staff: Brian Sterling (Assistant Band Director), Kanobe Henderson, Ashton Murphy, Jon Parker, Lazarion Gary, Trayquan Nicholson, and Dr. Everson Martin (Director of Bands).
