Girl Scout Day at Faith N Friends was a huge success!!! Thank you to all the girl scout participants and their adults who braved the heat to watch them have fun!

And an enormous thank you to all of the volunteers that came together to make this amazing day happen!!

In case you didn't know, Faith N Friends is 100% volunteer run and funded - we are grateful to each and every volunteer who gave up a beautiful Saturday to work in the heat so that the girls could experience a slice of horse life.

Dominic—registered name Dominador De LaDanza—is a gentle, wise 28-year-old Paso Fino dun gelding with a heart as soft as his smooth, signature ride. He came to Faith N Friends from an elderly woman who adored him deeply but could no longer care for him. Her love for him shows in every way—Dominic is kind, steady, and happiest when he’s with his buddies.

He may be a little pushy on the ground at times, but in the saddle he settles into a rhythm that feels like home. Whether you prefer English or Western, Dominic carries his rider with confidence and grace. He is barefoot, requires no shoes, stands beautifully for the farrier, is up to date on vaccinations and Coggins, and loads and ties well.

Dominic is best suited for an intermediate rider, someone who will appreciate his years of wisdom and give him the gentle leadership he responds so well to.

This sweet old soul is looking for a soft place to land—someone who will honor his past, enjoy his present, and give him the loving retirement he deserves.

Join us to help make our Silent Auction Baskets for the year. This is a fun way to get volunteer hours! This event will take place June 20th, 2026 from 10am-2pm at the Corryton Community Center. We ask, if you are able to, please bring a new gift to donate as well- we have PLENTY OF baskets at this time. Other donated items we could use would be: Large shrink wrap bags, "fruffies" to dress up baskets, tape, ribbon, anything to dress these up and make them more appealing!

Meet Pietta, a gentle and steady draft cross mare in her 20s who is finally ready to find a family to call her own.

Her past is somewhat of a mystery—she is believed to have come from the Amish—but her sweet spirit speaks for itself. Pietta is broke to ride and has been wonderfully calm and reliable under saddle. While she is not broke to drive, she shines as a quiet, steady partner for light riding. Because she has ringbone and sidebone, we recommend a home where she can enjoy an easier lifestyle. With consistent, patient handling, she would make a lovely leadline horse for a child learning confidence around horses.

Pietta also has excellent ground manners, making her an absolute joy to work with:

⛈️PONY PUDDLE CLUB⛈️

What is Faith N Friends' Pony Puddle Club?

Because we utilize an outdoor arena, we are unable to offer lessons under saddle during heavy rain or inclement weather. Instead, we offer ground lessons! These group lessons are conducted by our qualified instructors, and cover a wide range of topics from riding to horse care. Some examples of recent pony puddle club topics have been leg wrapping, understanding different tack choices, and (pictured) understanding how rein movement affects the bit/horse and how important it is to have quiet hand aids.

Despite the cutesy name, Pony Puddle Club is offered to lesson students of all ages, and sessions are catered to students' age, interests, and experience levels.
