Lots of good work going on at the farm last weekend!!!

We are so happy that the parking area by the barn has been expanded, and we've added the perfect spot to park our trailers. We repaired the kentucky four board fence down by the hardy herd, and added electric to keep the horses (ahem, WAGNER) from further damaging it. We also got our brand new stock set up, so our horses can safely receive medical and hoof care. Not pictured, our volunteers also kept at the unending task of keeping our fence lines and pastures maintained.

We are so proud of our volunteers for continuously improving our facilities, and we are thankful for all their hard work!!

RWR is a unique literacy and therapy program that pairs a certified speech pathologist with special needs children to support language development, literacy skills, and social growth. The program also incorporates Equine-Assisted Activities and Certified Occupational Therapy techniques to improve fine motor skills, agility, and core strength. Any child may participate—a diagnosis is not required—and all activities are conducted using our fully rehabbed equine partners.

The program is recommended for ages 4–10, though modifications can be made for older students with higher support needs or limited communication abilities. For questions or additional information, contact Faith at [email protected].

Program Structure

Five-week program

Attendance is important; children who miss more than two classes may be removed to make space for those on the waitlist

Program fees are non-refundable

Typical Schedule
When: Mondays or Thursdays from 3–4, 4–5, or 5–6
Cost: $50/session

Wrangler and Cheyanne are settling in here at Faith N Friends!! Our amazing grooming team gave them a spa day, helping them feel pampered and loved 🥰Our mission is helping horses help people - the very first part of that is making sure that when new horses come in, they feel safe, secure, and cared for.

We still have a long way to go to get these two healthy and happy, but our awesome volunteer team is doing a great job with them!

And a HUGE thank you to those of you that donated after our post introducing this pair of horses. We are 100% volunteer run and funded - we cannot do what we do without your support!! THANK YOU!

Join us on September 12 at 4 PM for Dressage is for Everyone with Shannon O'Hatnick of O'Hatnick Equestrian!! Whether you're an English rider who has questions about getting into dressage or a western rider that wants to know how dressage can make you and your horse a better team, this clinic is for you!!

Barbie, one of our amazing lesson horses was adopted by an amazing volunteer! Lizzie congratulations on your adoption of Barbie.

Barbie came in a little over a year ago a little underweight and under muscled. Fast forward to now, she is healthy and found the perfect person for her!

This is the type of happy ending we love to see!
