This week is National Forest Products Week! ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿชต๐Ÿชพ
Did you know that when you account for the carbon sequestration of growing forests in Minnesota, Minnesotaโ€™s forest industry is the only economic sector that absorbs more carbon than it emits?

๐Ÿ‚October is Leave the Leaves Month! ๐Ÿ‚ Fallen leaves provide many benefits to wildlife and to your yard and trees.
๐Ÿฆ‹ Butterflies, fireflies, and bumblebees depend on the leaf layer.
๐Ÿช If you have an abundance of leaves, your garden will appreciate a layer of leaves that will naturally compost and return nutrients to the soil.
โœ‚๏ธ A mulching mower will chop up leaves into smaller pieces to enrich your lawn.
๐ŸšซPlease do not bag leaves and throw them away where they will end up in a landfill.
