We are seeing a discrepancy in our hours due to multiple websites listing the old hours. We are currently reaching out to them to try and get this fix. In the meantime, our hours are:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9am to 5pm
Tuesday: 4pm to 8pm

For any questions you can still contact the Library even during off hours through Facebook Messenger, email, or by texting our Gabbie Phone Number - (231-262-8632) and we will be able to answer them during the next business day.

Introducing the Nintendo Wii to the Library! Each Friday stop by the Library during the Month of September and try to beat the Librarians score. Earn 200 Points or more and get a free Drink and Snack!

Rascally Readers will be returning in September with 'The One and Only Ivan' by Katherine Applegate!

Everyone is welcome to come hear Ms. Theresa read the story.

To ensure there are enough supplies: Registration is required to participate in activities.

WI heard a rumor that Ms. Theresa is learning how to finger knit - I wonder what she could be planning!

Directors Message: I would like to say a special thank you to our community members, which includes the Lakes of Fire community. I personally cannot thank our community enough for the love and support they have shown the library. Because of the generosity of our community members, including the Lakes of Fire community, we will be getting a Generac at the library!

With that said, there has been some misinformation going around, and I wanted to take a moment to correct that. In a post I recently saw, it was stated that Lakes of Fire community members donated $5,000.00. While that is an amazing amount, the actual amount donated is even more.

Through the Generac donation link on our Square account, Lakes of Fire community members donated $10,707.50. On top of that, members of the Lakes of Fire community also started a GoFundMe page on our behalf. While those funds are still being processed and we have not received them yet, they bring the total raised by the Lakes of Fire community to $16,213.60.

When we add in the money raised through our Pie in the Face, Book Sale, Silent Auction, and Candy Fundraiser, our total comes to $20,621.73!

I truly cannot thank everyone enough for making this possible. Thank you to our longtime community members and to all of the new friends we have made along the way. Your generosity, support, and encouragement have meant so much to me and to the library. Every donation, every share, and every kind word has made a difference.

We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
