IMPORTANT NOTICE: To those who have expressed concern about the list of potential projects or events please know that they are not action items, they are simply ideas which were discussed at the meeting. We can assure you that as a board we only have the best interest of our fairgrounds and the people who use it from Niobrara County and beyond in mind. If you have concerns, please contact one of the NCFF board members and we will be happy to discuss any issues. Please also note that our meetings are open to the public so if you would like to attend, we would be happy to have you.

Niobrara County Fairgrounds Foundation Board

February 19, 2026

Members’ Present: Twila Barnette, Shawna Glendy, Shelby Wuderman, Karlie Gruwell and Kelsi Overstreet

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Shawna Glendy

Prior meeting minutes were approved by Shawna Glendy. Kelsi Overstreet seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Financials

· The report from the treasurer was reviewed and approved. The bills are up to date. All approved, none opposed. Motion carried.

New Business

· Plugins for food trucks.

· A volleyball league through out summer as well as a basket ball league.

· Goat roping and mutton busting series.

· Fairgrounds club membership.

· New bathrooms on the west side.

· Hook ups in a more open area for trailers and campers.

· End of summer party.

· Elected Officers-

o Kelsi Overstreet- Vice President

o Mattie Pfister- Secretary

o Shelby Wuderman- Treasurer
