🏥 Need a Doctor but Don’t Have Health Insurance? We’re Here to Help.

Page Free Clinic provides FREE healthcare services to uninsured adults in Page County who meet eligibility guidelines.

Our services include:

✅ Primary care
✅ Women’s health services
✅ Lab testing
✅ Imaging services
✅ Prescription assistance and support
✅ Preventive care and chronic disease management
✅ Referrals to additional healthcare resources when needed

Who can qualify?
Uninsured adults ages 19–64 in Page County who meet income eligibility guidelines may qualify for care.

📄 What do you need to bring? It’s simple.

Just bring:

✅ Proof of residence — such as a piece of mail or your ID
✅ Proof of income — such as a recent pay stub, tax return, or letter from your employer

🩺 FREE HIV/STI TESTING — OPEN TO EVERYONE!

Page Free Clinic is partnering with ARE to offer no-cost, private, and confidential HIV/STI testing on Tuesday, August 18 from 4:00–7:00 PM.

📣 You do NOT need to be a Page Free Clinic patient to participate.
This event is open to the entire community, and walk-ins are welcome.

Testing will be available for:
• HIV
• Hepatitis B & C
• Syphilis
• Gonorrhea
• Chlamydia

Did you know you may qualify to receive healthcare at Page Free Clinic?

Many people in our community delay care because they do not have health insurance or believe healthcare is out of reach. Page Free Clinic is here to help eligible Page County residents access the care they need.

You may qualify if you:

✅ Live in Page County
✅ Are between 19 and 64 years old
✅ Have a household income at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level
✅ Do not have health insurance and do not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare

Page Free Clinic offers eligible patients access to services such as:

🩺 Primary care
🦷 Dental care
👩 Women’s health services
🧪 Laboratory testing
🩻 Imaging assistance
💊 Medication support and referrals

Our clinic is open Tuesdays from 4:00–7:00 p.m.

Every dollar you give helps provide life-changing healthcare to a neighbor in need.

This September, the Page Free Clinic will once again partner with Remote Area Medical (RAM) to bring FREE medical, dental, and vision care to uninsured and underserved members of our community. For many patients, this is their only opportunity all year to receive essential healthcare.

Would you consider sponsoring a patient?

💙 $25 provides up to a 3-month prescription for a patient.

🩺 $50 sponsors a primary care visit.

👓🦷❤️ $80 provides a complete RAM patient experience, including medical, dental, and vision care.

No gift is too small. Whether you sponsor one patient or several, your generosity directly impacts the health and well-being of our neighbors.

Congrats to our fantastic nurse practitioner, Erika Metzler Sawin!

In October, Dr. Erika Metzler Sawin will be inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, the highest honor in the nursing profession. Fellowship is awarded to nurse leaders whose contributions have made a significant national and international impact through scholarship, policy, practice, and leadership.
Dr. Metzler Sawin’s work focuses on expanding access to high-quality primary care, advancing health equity, and strengthening healthcare delivery in rural and underserved communities. Her scholarship and leadership span local, national, and international settings through the development of evidence-based educational initiatives and equity-focused research.
As Director of the HRSA-funded Undergraduate Primary Care and Rural Education (UPCARE) Project in Page County (2018–2023), she championed innovative nurse-led models of care addressing behavioral health, substance use disorders, and chronic disease management. This work enhanced nursing education and increased access to healthcare for thousands of patients through the expansion of nursing services across 22 rural clinics in an 18-county region.
Dr. Metzler Sawin currently serves as Co-Director of the Healthcare for the Homeless Suitcase Clinic and Madison Health Connections, an interdisciplinary academic-practice partnership managed by the JMU School of Nursing.
The JMU School of Nursing proudly celebrates Dr. Metzler Sawin’s upcoming induction into the American Academy of Nursing and her continued dedication to improving health outcomes for underserved populations.

A heartfelt thank-you to Rockingham Eye Physicians and Associates, P.C. for their generous support of Page Free Clinic and the upcoming RAM Clinic.

Their donation helps us continue providing essential care, medications, and support to uninsured adults in our community while also helping make the RAM Clinic possible. Through partnerships like this, we are able to expand access to primary care, dental, vision, and other critical services for neighbors who may otherwise go without care.

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, we wish everyone in our community a safe, happy, and healthy holiday.

Today is a reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and caring for one another. We are grateful for our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, community partners, and the patients who trust us with their care.

The Page Free Clinic provides free healthcare services to eligible uninsured adults in our community and is open every Tuesday evening. If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, we’re here to help.
