The members of Local 5369 offer our deepest condolences to the Fitchburg Fire Department and the entire Roy family on the passing of Deputy Chief PJ Roy. Deputy Roy was a true Jake and definitely left the job better than he found it. RIP PJ!

Today is a monumental day for our department. For the first time ever the Lunenburg Fire Department is staffed 24/7 by members of Local 5369 working a 4 group system. This long overdue change wouldn’t have been possible had it not been for several groups of people; the members of Local 5369 for constantly advocating for better staffing, the Town Manager & Select Board for seeing that this was necessary and committing to funding the 4th shift, and the residents of Lunenburg that supported and passed the budget at Town meeting. Thank you to all that made this happen!

Last night Boston Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr. made the ultimate sacrifice while operating at a fire in Dorchester. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kilduff family & the Boston Fire Department. RIP BK!

Last night members of Local 5369 attended the PFFM Legislator’s Night. This was a great event and allows Union leaders to network with our elected officials. It was great talking with to discuss the needs of our town, our department, and the PFFM.
