October 15th at 7 pm a presentation will be held at 602 Main Street, Lumberton. John Anderson will join us and share information on the Rancocas Creek, commerce, shipping, sand mining and historical views of the past along the Rancocas. Please join us for this evening to learn and share knowledge about our area along the creek.

Good Morning! Tomorrow will be the perfect day for visiting or selling at the Village Green Yard Sale 10/3 - 8am - 2 pm. It is not too late to let us know you are coming to sell. Just give us a call and let us know you will be there.

If you are wondering where your fee goes, it is a donation to the Historical Society of Lumberton to support our activities and pay our utility bills.

Time to get ready for our October Community Year Sale!

Date: October 3, 2026
Location: The Village Green (Rt. 541/Main Street, Lumberton
Time: 7:30am (setup) 8/8:30 (shoppers)
2:00 pm end time
Cost: $20 a spot… no limit on size vendors need
to display their items.
We open this Sale Day for crafters and vendors as well as yard sale items. Each year we have found this is a great time for Crafters/Vendors to display items for the upcoming holiday seasons.

On Tuesday we were able to get the students and their families together with some of our Society members, to present the awards for the 250th Anniversary Contest that the Historical Society held. We thank everyone for attending the celebration.We thank the Mayor and the Township team who put this event together for the Society. We especially thank Bobbie Quinn for adding to this celebration with snacks and ice cream for the children (and adults too)! It was a pleasure working alongside everyone to make this time special for the children!

Looks like this Saturday will be great weather for our Yard Sale on the Village Green (Co.Rt. 541, Main Street in Lumberton). We welcome Vendors or Crafters along with our Yard Sale Sellers.
