Looks like this Saturday will be great weather for our Yard Sale on the Village Green (Co.Rt. 541, Main Street in Lumberton). We welcome Vendors or Crafters along with our Yard Sale Sellers. The Historical Society's Annual Community Yard Sale will be happening this year on JUNE 6th.

Participants: Crafters, Vendors, Yard Sale Sellers all are welcome

Location: The Village Green, Main Street in Lumberton

Time: (set up 7:30 am) for shoppers 8 Am - 2 PM

Cost: $20 a spot, Bring your own tables, blankets, no limit on size or what you can bring. You can park on the grass and sell from your vehicles. No food vendors, the Society sells food as part of this fund raising event for the operations of the Historical Society Museum.

This is a reminder..we will have flowers for sale on Saturday from 10-3 pm. We will be at 602 Main Street in Lumberton. 10 inch hanging baskets for $20 that special person in your life will love these all summer long. Bedding plants will also be available.

On May 9th from 10 am until 3 pm, the Society will be holding our Annual Flower Sale at the Gaun Building (602 Main Street, Lumberton). As in years past, we will have a wide variety of bedding plants in flats of 32, which are available in packs of four, and hanging baskets of all kinds; 10-inch baskets will be $20. They will make wonderful Mother's Day gifts, gifts that will last throughout the summer!

Our next event offered, to the public, will happen on April 16th. At 7 pm we will have a presentation about the Revolutionary Battles in our area, Petticoat Bridge and the Battle of Iron Works Hill. The information will be presented by County Historian, Marisa Bozarth. This presentation will take place at The Gaun Community Center, 602 Main Street, in Lumberton.
