Video surveillance footage from a residents home showing unknown male looking around while no one was home. Have had other reports in same area of someone knocking on windows after removing the screen as well as storage sheds being rummaged through and items taken. No video footage from others so it is unknown if it is the same person. Please stay alert and keep everything locked. If you have cameras make sure they are operating.

Ok folks , we are in the middle of the storm, and reports are that it could get a little worse as the day go's on, it should start calming down in a little while but remember the bands of the storm with circle back around , there are power outages being reported but the city is on it , they are out now tying to fix the problems at hand, please if anyone has lines down or trees down call the correct outlets to inform those companies, hang tight its almost over , stay safe

Monday, August 1, 2022

On Monday, August 1, 2022 at approximately 8:09 am, Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 94 Prosperity Dr., Lumberton, NC in reference to an individual shot.

Upon the arrival of the deputies, Quadrique R. Butler, 19, of Fairmont was found inside of the residence deceased. Investigators are requesting assistance from the public with locating a suspect in relation to the death of Butler.

Knowledge McNeil, 20, of Pembroke is charged and wanted for first degree murder, breaking and entering, robbery with a dangerous weapon, discharging a weapon within an enclosed area to incite fear and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The case is being investigated by the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of McNeil or the case are asked to contact the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 671-3170 or (910) 671-3100.​

Sheriff Burnis Wilkins confirms that Deputies, Homicide Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators are on the scene of an apparent Homicide along the 2900 block of Old Whiteville Road just outside of Lumberton. More information will be provided later. 🙏🏻

An investigation into a home invasion that resulted in murder has led to multiple felony charges against a suspect from South Carolina. Jason Tyvon McRae, 30, of Dillon, South Carolina is wanted in relation to the death of Shawn T. Campbell, 20, of Fairmont. McRae is charged with first degree murder, first degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, discharging firearm within enclosure to incite fear, possession of firearm by felon and felony conspiracy.

On Monday, May 23, 2022 at approximately 12:45 am, Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to 9310 Hwy 130 By-Pass, Fairmont, NC in reference to an individual shot. Upon the arrival of the deputies, Campbell was found inside of the residence deceased.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are likely. The case is being investigated by the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Criminal Investigations Divisions. The Bureau of Alcohol, To***co, Fi****ms and Explosives, Fairmont Police Department and Dillon County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of McRae or the case are asked to contact the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 671-3170 or Dillon County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 774-1432.​

Hello everyone! Public service announcement from East Lumberton Community Watch! We have put up a touch to talk channel on the zello touch to talk network, this is a open channel for the east lumberton community to be able to talk and warn others of activities going on around the east lumberton community, This is not a emergency line or does not connect to the police department, this is just for community residents to talk among each other of activities they have seen going on, this is a app you can download on your smart phone the app link is below, once downloaded simply create a account and where is says channels simply search for East Lumberton Community Watch and add, this is a touch to talk system but all Communications will stay in the groups channel so if anyone in the community would like to hear, this is just a test run of offering a community communication channel to help warn others of activities going on in the area, if you would like to join and have problems getting it connected please send us a message here and someone will contact you and help you get connected, please share and we hope this will be another tool in help cleanup our streets, thanks and everyone have a good week.
