Midterm elections are not “small” elections — they shape our schools, healthcare, criminal justice policies, economic opportunities, voting rights, and the future of our communities. Every ballot cast is a voice for equity, representation, and progress.

The African American community has always turned pain into power and advocacy into action. Our ancestors marched, organized, sacrificed, and fought for the right to vote. We honor that legacy every time we show up at the polls informed, engaged, and ready to make an impact.

This is our moment to mobilize. Check your registration. Make a plan. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Our voices matter. Our votes matter. Our future depends on it.

Hello NPHC DIVINE NINE FAMILY,

“All Roads Lead to the South” is a national day of action taking place Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Montgomery, Alabama. Organized by civil rights and community organizations from across the country, this mobilization comes in response to recent Supreme Court decisions including Callais and the continued dismantling of the Voting Rights Act. (Flyers are Below)

The purpose is simple - protect voting rights, demand political power for Black communities in the South, and build sustained action in our state.
There are a few ways to engage:

On this day in 1991, something powerful took root in Robeson County, NC.

35 years later, the Lumberton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. stands as a testament to what sisterhood built on purpose can accomplish.

We honor every soror who laid the foundation, those who built upon it, and those who will carry it forward. Our work is far from finished.
