⚾️ DISTRICT 9 MAJORS TOURNAMENT HEATS UP ⚾️

The road to the District 9 Championship continues tonight as four teams remain in contention and every game becomes more important.

After Monday’s action, West Robeson Blue remains unbeaten and will square off against West Robeson White in a winner’s bracket showdown. Meanwhile, Fairmont and Lumberton will battle to keep their championship hopes alive.

With a championship berth on the line and no room for error, expect another great night of District 9 baseball.

⚾️ DISTRICT 9 AAA (MINORS) TOURNAMENT UPDATE ⚾️

The District 9 AAA Minors Tournament continued Monday with another great day of baseball at West Robeson.

🏆 Tournament Results:
• Lumberton defeated West Robeson White
• West Robeson Blue defeated Elizabethtown

Tonight’s games will determine who advances to the championship round:

⚾ Game 5 – 6:00 PM
Elizabethtown vs. West Robeson White

⚾ Game 6 – 8:00 PM
Lumberton vs. West Robeson Blue

The winner of Game 6 will advance directly to the championship game on Wednesday night, while the loser will have another opportunity to fight their way back through the bracket.

Good luck to all four teams as the battle for the District 9 Championship continues!

⚾️🏆 2026 DYB 6U A State Tournament Comes to Lumberton! 🏆⚾️

Lumberton Youth Baseball Association is proud to welcome 12 of the best 6U Coach Pitch teams from across North Carolina to Lumberton for the 2026 DYB 6U A State Tournament at Northeast Park!

📅 Pool Play Begins: Friday, June 19 at 12:30 PM
📅 Bracket Play Begins: Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 AM

Teams from across the state will compete for a chance to be crowned State Champions in what promises to be an exciting week of baseball, sportsmanship, and community fellowship.

⚾ Family-Friendly Atmosphere
⚾ Concessions Available

Most importantly, all tournament proceeds benefit the DYB Scholarship Fund, helping provide opportunities for young athletes to continue their education and pursue their dreams.

We invite everyone in the Lumberton community and surrounding areas to come out, support these young players, and help us showcase why Lumberton is one of the premier baseball destinations in North Carolina.

Our Lumberton Minors All-Star team is off to a fantastic start, winning their first two games in the District 9 Tournament! 💪🔥

The journey continues Tuesday night as they take the field once again at West Robeson Blue with first pitch scheduled for 8:00 PM.

Let’s show our support and cheer on these young athletes as they represent Lumberton with pride, determination, and teamwork. We are proud of everything they’ve accomplished so far and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Hey everyone — we had a glove go missing during evaluations tonight. It may have accidentally been picked up when gathering equipment at the end.

If your player brought home an extra glove or one that doesn’t belong to them, please check and let us know. We would really appreciate your help getting it back to its owner.
