Many baby birds leave the nest not being able to fly right away. They will hop around spreading their wings chirping and parents will still be caring for them. If you see a little bird this time of year exhibiting this behavior, it does not mean something is wrong. Contact us if you have questions or concerns before kidnapping the baby. 🐦 🪺

This cutie patootie, with ears bigger than she is, came in this morning to our rehabber, Angilee. This baby was dehydrated and thirsting to death….literally. She was struggling a bit on her own out there in the big world. She was triaged and treated. She is resting comfortably now and less stressed. Already a huge improvement. She will hang out with us until she is around 2 lbs and will then be released. Send her all the love her ears can hold! 🩷📣
