Smith & Larned for Lumberton

08/11/2024

At this year’s Joseph V. Egan Labor Candidates School, our labor candidates representing every sector of the labor movement from all corners of the state came together this weekend, eager to learn and grow as labor candidates. We know that all of our labor candidates are ready to make a difference, uphold union values and fight for the rights of working families. Are you ready to show your solidarity and join us as we walk with them on Saturdays?

A quick note about mailers or campaign materials Lumberton voters may have received that make negative attacks on our opponents. We are proud to have run a 100% positive, policy-based campaign and have no coordination or association with outside groups who may have an opinion about this election. All of our campaign materials are clearly marked as paid for by EFO Smith and Larned for Lumberton.
That being said, we do think voters should take a careful look at the voting records of both Hatfield and Rodriguez before casting their ballot and not assume that just because they are incumbents that they have been making good decisions for the town or representing Democratic Party values. There are clear reasons why the Lumberton Democratic Committee overwhelmingly chose to back different candidates this year, and we believe that residents will see a markedly positive difference if we are able to serve you on Township Committee.
