Urgent Call for Canned Goods Donations

Good morning, Luling Community!

The Pantry is currently experiencing empty shelves, and we could truly use your support. We are urgently seeking donations of canned goods to help restock our supplies and serve our neighbors in need.

Our Current Needs

Canned Vegetables: Corn, green beans, carrots, potatoes—these are always appreciated!

Canned Meats: Chicken, tuna, spam, salmon

Easy Meal Options: Items like spaghetti in a can or other ready-to-eat meals

Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. Your generosity helps ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. If you are able to contribute, please consider bringing any of these items to The Pantry. You can call 830.875.2863 to arrange a time to drop off your donations.

Good morning Luling! The Luling Community Food Pantry is working hard to combat food insecurities in Luling and Caldwell County, but we could use some help. Summer is coming and that means that we will likely have more families needing some assistance. We are hoping to be able to provide that assistance. However our freezers are empty. We have been told that Hometown Meat Market is willing to help with the processing of any donations we get. To this end we are looking for a cow. If you have one that you could donate we would appreciate it. (Think tax write off). Our community is great at answering the call for help so I just want to say Thank YOU in advance.

Good Morning Luling. Today from 10 AM to 2 PM we will be distribuiting food. It is a drive through so stay in your car and we will load. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Good Morning Luling! Today, May 13 we are making bags for our food distribution. We could use some help. If you aren't busy and have always wanted to volunteer now is the time. We will be here until noon.

We could use your help. Our meat freezers are empty. We usually receive meat from HEB, but they have not had any many meat donations for us in the last month. Our next food distribution date is May 14, 2024. Thank you.
