VFW Post 3750 West St. Charles and American Legion Post 131 join together for monthly coffee with veterans at PJ’s Coffee in Luling. Always a good time and even had a special guest this morning when Al Templet made an appearance, so if a Hurricane happens this week blame Al.

Busy day today at VFW Post 3750 West St. Charles, began with the Parish’s Memorial Day Ceremony at the Post instead of at Veterans Plaza due to the weather. Then our regular general membership meeting and Installation of Officers for the VFW and Auxiliary. Congrats to Commander Monty Parr and President Ashley Marie Allo for have a successful 2025-26 and now to continue the momentum into 2026-27. Both have an outstanding group of officers to work with in the upcoming year.

Post is set up and ready to host the Parish’s Memorial Day Ceremony. All
members of the community are welcome to join us at 140 Angus Dr beginning at 11am. Guest speaker for today’s event will be District 4 Councilman Willie Comardelle. Members of the VFW and American Legion will pay last respects to members who have passed during this last year.

Come out on Monday to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom. VFW Post 3750 and American Legion Post 131 will host this event.

Join VFW Post 3750 this Memorial Day as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

The ceremony will take place Monday, May 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. at VFW Post 3750, located at 140 Angus Dr. in Luling. Residents, veterans, families and community members are invited to attend as we pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Monty Parr and Bill Everett took care of business today at the Raceland Post 3665 8th Annual Crawfish Cookoff by placing 3rd in the Judges Choice Division. Great job guys and thanks for representing the Post. CIC Carol Whitmore enjoyed the opportunity to judge and also see how the Mudbugs are done.

West St Charles VFW Post 3750 hosted the Hahnville High School’s AFJROTC Unit La-933’s Annual Awards and Military Ball. The VFW and Auxiliary members look forward to this event every year and enjoy watching the accomplishments of these young adults get recognized. This is truly a team effort that demonstrates to our community we are here to support youth programs within the parish. Thanks to all who took part with this program.
