The Worshipful Master, Wardens, and Brethren of Lufkin Lodge No. 669 would like to thank everyone who came to honor Bro. J.C. Crawford at his 70 year award ceremony yesterday. It was a historic day for our Lodge, and an honor and a privilege to be a part of it. Bro. Crawford drew a crowd of almost 200 people, and we hope everyone enjoyed the ceremony and the excellent meal that followed it!

Due to an error in interpreting the guidelines put out by the Committee on Masonic Education pertaining to the Golden Trowel Award, the Golden Trowel Award Ceremony for Bro. Daniel Ward has been postponed until a later date.

Our annual s***t shoot fundraiser is coming up on Saturday, October 18th at Pines Sporting Clays! This is a tremendous help to our Lodge and our efforts to serve our community! If you’re looking to have a good time shooting clays, this is a great opportunity to do so and help us contribute to our community. It’s 500$ per four man team. We will also offer corporate sponsorship with signage to be displayed at each shooting station. There will be CASH prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the competition. A meal will be available for purchase after the shoot. We will also have extra games awarding various prizes after the shoot.

If you don’t want to shoot, we need volunteers to help trapping. It’s all electronic, all you have to do is push a button.

Last night Brother Gene Brookshire passed away
He was Grand Senior Steward in 2021 and a Past Master of Lufkin Lodge #669 in 1988. He was 96 years old and a 62 year Master Mason.
He was a pillar in our lodge and in Texas Freemasonry! Services are pending and will be announced later
