Pack 134 and Troop 136 were proud to serve our community by participating in Wreaths Across America at Garden of Memories. Our Scouts helped place wreaths in remembrance of the men and women who served our country, taking a moment to pause, reflect, and say their names aloud.

This experience was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedoms and the importance of honoring those who came before us. Through service projects like this, our Scouts continue to learn respect, gratitude, and the value of giving back.

Thank you to everyone who supported this meaningful event and helped teach the next generation the importance of remembrance.

First Christian Church of Lufkin Announces a Big Dream! 🚐💛💙

First Christian Church of Lufkin is excited to share a vision close to our hearts: purchasing a dedicated Scout transport van that will safely carry our Pack and Troop to campouts 🏕️, service projects 🤝, and community events 🎉.

This van will open doors to new experiences, increase accessibility for all families, and create memories that will last a lifetime ❤️.

We’re reaching out to our wonderful community—the people who have always stood beside us 🙌—to help make this dream a reality. Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference and goes directly toward supporting our Scouts.

Pack 134 and Troop 136 had a fantastic time participating in the 2025 Lufkin Christmas Parade! 🎄

Our float theme this year was A Charlie Brown Christmas — “It’s not what’s under the tree, but who’s around it.” We featured Beagle Scout Snoopy and plenty of Woodstocks to help bring the magic to life! 🐾💛

Thank you to all our Scouts, leaders, and families who came out to support and celebrate with us. We truly had a wonderful time and are grateful for the community spirit that makes events like this so special.

Pack 134 celebrated the holiday season with our annual Christmas Party. Scouts and families enjoyed festive activities, refreshments, and time together. We were delighted to welcome a special guest Santa Claus, who brought smiles to all our Scouts.

📢 Reminder!
Pack 134 will be hosting our Goodwill Donation Drive this Saturday at 10:00 AM in the parking lot of First Christian Church. A portion of the donated value will be shared with our pack to help fund our Scouting programs! If you’ve been meaning to make a Goodwill run, please consider bringing your donations to this drive.

If you can’t make it Saturday, no worries! 😊 Just reach out to one of our leaders, and we’ll be happy to pick up your donation items this week.

Pack 134 would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our Scout families for their generosity and community spirit. For our November service project, each Scout was asked to bring a non-perishable food item to support local families in need.

Our Pack families embraced this challenge and went above and beyond. Through their collective efforts, we were able to donate a significant amount of food to assist families within our community.

This project truly reflects the core values of Scouting—service, compassion, and leadership. We are incredibly proud of our Scouts and their families for demonstrating what it means to make a positive difference.
