WAA is a national foundation. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, it is our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. Flag at half-staff

Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance observed the last Monday of May each year, honoring Armed Forces members who died while in service to America. This year Memorial Day is observed on Monday, May 26. In accordance with the U.S. Flag Code [U.S.C. Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 7(m)], on Memorial Day the United States flag is to be displayed at half-staff from sunrise until noon only, then raised briskly to the top of the staff.

Do you know all the flag rules? If so, do you follow them? The American Auxiliary #113 has full copies of the rules if you need one, please let us know.
