Angelina County Wreaths Across America Remember. Honor. Teach. Every year in December we will place wreaths on veteran gravestones at Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Join us-- Support Veterans

WAA is a national foundation. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, it is our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 1,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. To JOIN our Local Community of LUFKIN in the Event, please see our page, or email us for more information on how to get involved. If you'd like to Donate, please click the DONATE button to support a military grave for only $15. (Five dollars of your money goes back to the Local Lufkin American Legion to purchase flags for our veterans on Memorial Day for local cemeteries.) REMEMBER our fallen U.S. veterans. HONOR those who serve. TEACH your children the value of freedom. http://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org

On the weekend of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, we are calling on Americans nationwide to pause together in remembrance and unity, marking the occasion with two tributes: a coast-to-coast flag waving and the dedication of a new Woody Williams Gold Star Families Memorial Monument.

We need all the help we can get this year, so far behind. So sad to tell those who have volunteered to help place wreaths that we don't have enough for every Veteran in Garden of Memories but you can help.

Have you sponsored wreaths for this year yet? If not, why not? If yes, Thank You!
