✍ The Coalition was proud to attend this year's Alcohol Policy Conference, where public health leaders from across the country came together to advance evidence-based strategies for preventing alcohol-related harm.
🎤 Executive Director Sharon Kruk and Texans for Safe & Drug-Free Youth CEO Nicole Holt presented their work on alcohol density mapping and alcohol-to-go compliance check trainings.
🎉 A special congratulations to Nicole for earning the inaugural Guy Williams Operational Excellence Award for her advocacy, leadership, and innovation. Well deserved!

Our team was honored to attend the 💜 Family Crisis Center of East Texas 💜 Passion for Purple luncheon to support the important work being done to address domestic violence and strengthen families in our community. As prevention professionals, we recognize that domestic violence and substance misuse are often connected, and we know that substance use is never an excuse for abuse or violence.
💜 By working together to prevent substance misuse, promote healthy relationships, and support survivors, we can help create safer, healthier communities for everyone.
