What a weekend at Rock Eagle! ✨ Our 4-H members joined hundreds of youth leaders from across Georgia for State Council, one of the premiere events in Georgia 4-H. From leadership development and networking to celebrating the election of the new State Board of Directors, it was a weekend full of learning, growth, and unforgettable memories. Thank you Mrs. Kristine for being an amazing volunteer and mentor to our local youth!

Camp Jekyll 🐢 What an unforgettable time at Cloverleaf Camp last week!

It's always funny looking at the first photo taken before we get on the bus....everyone is nervous, shy, scared, anxious, awkward, and has NO IDEA what is in store for them at Camp! Then by the end of the week, they are all crying and asking if they can stay there all summer. 😮

Highlights included: bike ride around Jekyll Island 🚲 splashing at Summer Waves 🌊, battling it out in pirate games 🏴‍☠️, and making memories during beach swims and night rec 🌙… & of course—snacks, laughs, and friendships that will last far beyond camp hopefully. 💚🍀

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers and teen leaders who poured so much into this week. YOU are the reason these campers had such an amazing experience! 🫶🏼

Our 4-H’ers took a trip to Burton 4-H Center on Tuesday this week for some hands-on experiences that included a shark dissection and coastal critters! We also had a delicious lunch in the dining hall and loved spending time on Tybee Island. This was a great kickoff to our summer programming activities we have planned so make sure you get signed up for the ones in June - don’t miss out on the F U N! ☀️ 🐊 🐌 🐢 🦀 🐍
