REMINDER: FRESH GEORGIA GROWN PRODUCE + SUPPORT FOR 4-H!

Online Sales: September 14, 2026 – November 2, 2026

County sales of 50+ boxes will include direct county delivery

The Georgia 4-H Foundation has partnered with Front Door Produce to offer a fundraising opportunity for local County 4-H programs through the sale of Georgia Grown produce boxes. The “Green Box” includes 20 lbs. of fresh Georgia Grown produce, priced at $35.

The produce box packed in Moultrie, GA. The box can include:

· Bell Pepper

· Cucumbers

· Yellow Squash

· Zucchini

· Green Beans

· Corn

· Cabbage

· Satsumas

Timeline

· Online Sales: September 14, 2026 – November 2, 2026

· County Pick Up and Distribution: Week of November 16th

· Pick Up Hubs and dates to be shared as soon as they are made available at the conclusion of the fundraiser.

· County sales of 50+ boxes will include direct county delivery

If donors would like to purchase a box to support your county but are not able to physically pick up their purchase, they can choose to donate the box. Long County 4H can donate the box to a local food bank or another nonprofit organization.

Good Morning Y'all!

We are Going Green this week for National 4-H Week!
On Monday of National 4-H Week, Go GREEN and show your 4-H state spirit! A simple, cohesive way for youth, professionals, volunteers, alumni & supporters across the country to celebrate their 4-H program being Beyond Ready. Wear a green hat, clothing, face paint - anything green goes. Let's paint the nation GREEN, on Monday, October 5th!

We have 2 events coming up this week.

Tomorrow 10/6 is our next Clover Bud Club meeting! 3:45pm-5pm at the 4-H Office.

Thursday 10/8 is our first Crafting Club meeting for this year. 4pm-6pm at the 4-H office. Mrs.Patty is asking 6th-12th Grade to please bring in an old pair of jeans, any cotton clothing they aren’t using, and a shoe box (or any other box) if you are interested in creating a miniature project or scene. Please let us know if you need help gathering these materials.

What a weekend at Rock Eagle! ✨ Our 4-H members joined hundreds of youth leaders from across Georgia for State Council, one of the premiere events in Georgia 4-H. From leadership development and networking to celebrating the election of the new State Board of Directors, it was a weekend full of learning, growth, and unforgettable memories. Thank you Mrs. Kristine for being an amazing volunteer and mentor to our local youth!
