African Orphaned and Abandoned Children's Fund There are over 40 million orphaned and abandoned children in Africa and Haiti. God has given us the opportunity to be a blessing.

There is no Social Security, insurance, government programs and very few non government funds to help these children.

I am going to Kenya to meet with local representatives’ to assess a project to build villages that will house widows, orphans and abandoned children. There are an estimated 2 million of these children in Kenya that are in dire need of support.

This is a project to get children off of the streets and out of the traditional “orphanage”, institutional type housing and into to a loving, caring and nurturing environment that promotes growth and productive citizenship.

We will build individual family housing, schools, churches and shops that will promote growth that will enable an otherwise lost generation to become productive citizens in their respective communities rather than a burden.

When I return I will have the much needed information to begin to raise funding to build these communities. I will need your prayers and support for this mission to go forward.

Here is a message from Pastor Samwell Mwebia. Oh, yes Congratulations to Sammy and his wife for the new arrival - Debrah!!! Praise the Lord.

HELLO DR. JOE
Hope you are doing fine! we are also doing fine, God has been good to us, we have seen His faithfulness. My family is enjoying the blessing of the lord! Our daughter is growing very fast she is one month old. Her mother is Healing at least now she can move here and there.
Our children's program is also doing good ,we thank God to be able to touch lives of desperate families positively through your ministry. We have fed, clothed and educated and brought hope to the hopeless. We have family in our church where the husband died due to H.I.V but the mama was left behind and she is living H.I.V positive, they had two kids and they come to our church we have been supporting them through this program, due to hope we have created in this lady she is having better health. and now she can interact freely with others without stigma.
We have closed our school for August Holiday and we expect to open again on September. Continue to pray for our school and children program at large. We have been able to pipe bore hole water in our church premises ,we just need to have water tank and materials to build green house in order to grow tomatoes to support our school, especially meeting school bills like paying the teachers and cook. If we can get this project running it will help us a lot.
How is Home church doing, we always feel that we are in the same fellowship, we always remember you in our prayers and supplications. May God continue to nourish and motivate you for his purposes.

Praise the Lord!! If you would like to help support Sammy and the work that he is doing you can send your gift to us here at:

Here is a message from Pastor Samwell Mwebia of Nairobi Kenya. We have been helping him with feeding children and with a family that is in need. The boy that he is speaking of has spina bifida and was in imediate need of specialized care when we heard of him. His father, Tom, had a broken leg and no job. Tom's wife left him and he had to raise his three children by himself with no job, no income and no place to live. We have been supporting Tom with help from Pastor Samwell as he recovers from his injuries and as a result Tom is now saved and serving the Lord. Here is a report .

HELLO JOE

Sorry for sickness.[ I,Joe, have been ill] We where somehow disappointed when we learned you are not coming my wife has never met you and she wanted to just see you,but we understood it could have been difficult to travel not approved by the Doctor.
Hope you got the photos of our church. We thank you Helping us build the new structure.we feel now we are better of.
Tom is doing well,He as got a Job this month,he is working as a watchman in a cement company I encouraged him to do the job.the child is doing fine.he is healing and we thank God for what he is doing the life of this boy. People in my church and their neighbors are saying really God is able to heal and restore. This boy is building faith of many believers. We thank God for everything. The boy is scheduled to go to clinic before 10th at kijabe mission Hospital ,for physiotherapy and to get the medicine.we are really encouraged by the improvement of this boy.
When Peggy and Eva where here they left some medicine for De-worming and we want to do De-worming to kids this Saturday.they are already excited about it.

We always remember you in our daily prayers. Our country needs more prayers especially this time our army is preparing to attack kismayu in somali the alshabaabs are retaliating by heating worship centers.we are asking the lord to cover us with his blood every where.
Two week ago we where attending Kairoscourse its all about missions we where excited and motivated to be part of Gods rescue mission to humanity.
How is mission school doing?
we love you and always praying for you.

in Christ's love

Sam and Becky Mwebia.

The crisis in the Horn of Africa is worsening as Islamist militants are attacking in Kenya and have kidnapped aid workers from Dadaab refuge camps. The need throughout Kenya is getting heightened as the food supply is being taxed by the insurgence of refugees. Many refugees as they can not recieve help at the camps are migrating to the cities and are draining already weak resources. Food prices are increasing daily as the demand for food increases. We need your help to meet the needs of those that we support. we are at the present time helping from 300 to 1000 children through the ministries that we support as funds come in. You can goto www.aoaacf.org to see how you can help.

AOAACF is undertaking a campaign to raise awareness and aid for the ministries that we support that are affected by this famine. We have three ministries that we have partnered with to raise support in Kenya. We also want to be able to help those that are in one of the largest refuge camps in Kenya, Dadaab refuge center. Help us raise $500,000 by December 2011 to help the refugees in Kenya.

Thousands of Somali refugees fleeing drought in their home country are continuing to pour into the Dadaab refugee camp in neighbouring Kenya. People have los...

Somalia, already one of the world's poorest countries, is in midst of an epic humanitarian catastrophe, as a third of its popultion - 3.7 million people - face starvation. Throughout the Horn of Africa, in countries like Ethiopia and Kenya, as many as 11 million people are currently at risk of severe malnutrition or starvation as the region faces the worst drought conditions in 60 years.
