For anyone who wants to get out and play during these winter months, there is drop in futsal at West Shore Community College on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00!! For those who don’t have a pass/membership it is $6. It is helpful to bring a light colored and a dark colored shirt to make teams.

We had about 100 athletes take the field this summer, and we were able to make some improvements to the league experience (new nets, scoreboard, corner flags, more officials) while keeping cost very low to players. The final week of the regular season is here! Coras FC and Waves have clinched spots in the knockout rounds.
Goal Diggers are in unless: they lose by a lot, Fireballs win by a lot, and Manistee Manatees win.
Manistee Manatees are in with a win, or a tie and a Fireballs loss/tie.
Fireballs need either a better result than Manistee OR win by a lot and Goal Diggers lose by a lot.

Week 5 featured three close games! 2-0 Waves over Hustlers, 2-1 Generations United over Fireballs, 4-3 Coras FC over Manistee Manatees. Very fun and exciting matches!!
Grace White with two goals to take the lead for women’s golden boot. Nate Wagner and Devin Schweigert with a goal each to heat up the battle for silver and bronze boot 💪

After week 4, no one has a perfect record! Previously perfect Coras with a tie against Generations United, and Fireballs with their first loss to Waves. Goal Diggers back on track with another 10 goal performance from Joe Motyka. Brooklyn Storms with a goal to tie things up at the top of the women’s golden boot standings.

Here’s how things stand after week 3! Manistee Manatees with a comeback from a 0-3 halftime deficit and Waves with a strong showing to earn their first wins, then Coras back in action with a shutout win. Joe Motyka with 4 goals extends his lead for golden boot, with a very tight race on the women’s side.
