Everyone needs to check to see if their meter is really being read,,, I checked mine and my meter was covered with 5 inches of dirt and there was no way that is was read in awhile. I checked others in the alley and none of them were read either

A reporter for KAWL public radio in san francisco just reached out to me, and others from FLOW... asking for information regarding the local water rates. She asked if it is still an issue, and what is going on with the water rates...

I ended up speaking to her for about an hour or so regarding this... and she wanted to know more. If any people in the community would like to share their story of how the local water rates are affecting you, write it here, and I'll pass it along to them.

She asked what the water bill is like for our family, and I told her... but what is YOUR water bill like? I think that people in the bay area should know what we're going through up here... What is YOUR story? How does it affect YOU?

The contrast between strict enforcement on some struggling to conserve water and unchecked profligacy in places like Bel Air has unleashed anger and indignation.
