Desert Crossroads Garden Club "Come Grow With Us" In 1980, the GCGC established a Rose Garden in Lucerne Valley's Pioneer Park.

The Desert Crossroads Garden Club (DCGC) was established June 16, 1977 and an affiliate with California Garden Clubs, Inc, Pacific Region Garden Clubs, and National Garden Clubs, Inc. The Club started Arbor Day Memorial Tree Plantations in 1984, and has planted hundreds of trees in the park, around the Community Center, and Senior Center. In June of 1992, DCGC held a memorial dedication of the "Bl

ue Star Memorial By-Way Marker" in the Rose Garden. In 1994, DCGC developed the community "Water Awareness Garden" located behind the Senior Center and continues to provide community residents with a beautiful garden complete with hard paved walkways that are wheelchair accessible. DCGC also supports the following:
Penny Pines (1942) National Reforestation Program
Provide Flowers for Graduating Seniors from Lucerne Valley High School (LVHS)
Sponsor LVHS FFA
