Congratulations to the Lucas Cubs Baseball Team on bringing home the Sectional Championship! 🐻⚾ What an incredible accomplishment for this team, coaching staff, and community!

The Cubs continue their tournament run tomorrow, 5/28, as they take on South Central at Galion High School. First pitch is set for 2:00 PM.

What an incredible showing by our athletes at districts! We are proud to announce the following athletes have officially qualified for REGIONIALS:

🔥 Katie Griffey – Qualified in Shot Put & Discus
🥈 Runner-up in Discus

🔥 Riley Trumpower – District Champion in Long Jump
🥈 Runner-up in the 300H

🔥 Mason Guegold – 4th place in the 400

🔥 Ray Lewis – District Runner-up in the 3200 & 800
🥉 3rd place in the 1600
📚 Set SCHOOL RECORDS in both the 800 and 3200!

🔥 Joey Desterhaft – DISTRICT CHAMPION in:
🏆 110H
🏆 300H (breaking the meet record previously held by Caleb Camp!)
🏆 Long Jump

What a day for Lucas Track & Field!
8th grader TJ Wojciechowski brought home not one, but TWO OHSAA Middle School State Championships today! 💪

🥇 100M State Champion — 11.40
🥇 200M State Champion — 22.71

TJ showed incredible speed, determination, and heart while representing Lucas on the biggest stage. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment and way to make your school and community proud!

A huge thank you to the community for your support.
We would like to thank Coach Sweat for all your help yesterday. He stayed to help from the beginning to the end. He did everything from boiling the pasta to dishes. Your help was so greatly appreciated. Thank you to the parent volunteers who helped serve and keep all desserts full as well as everyone that donated to the event.
